Custom Made Media

All website listed PTC media are produced in Duchefa’s powdered media production facility. Besides these literature cited PTC media Duchefa Biochemie produces numerous Custom Made Plant Tissue Culture media for many Tissue Culture laboratories.

Duchefa Biochemie produces about 300 different Custom Made media for its worldwide customers. Many of these media are modifications of already existing PTCmedia, but also newly composed media for special applications are part of this custom made media.

If it is about a proprietary owned PTC formulation a secrecy declaration can be agreed upon and between the owner and Duchefa Biochemie prior to production and packaging of the custom made formulation. Without prior written confirmation no information will be hand over by Duchefa Biochemie to any third party.

Minimum production quantity for a Custom Made medium is about one kilogram depending on its composition. Just an excel file listing components and their respective concentrations is in most cases enough information for production.

Prices for most Custom Made media are generally the same as for our standard media. For bulk quantities a favorable discount will be applied.
