Quality Assurance Department
Considering the dynamic nature of the quality management, we at Duchefa Biochemie take quality very seriously. The QA department consists of the QA-manager (pharmacist), the QA pharmacist and five Quality Officers. The department is responsible for maintaining the required (ISO 9001:2008) standards and regulations.
The main activities carried out within the QA department on a daily basis are coordinating audits (both internal and external), monitoring the collaboration of the various departments on a QA level, the release of raw materials and packaging, drafting certificates of analysis and material safety data sheets.
In addition, several quality control tasks like maintaining standard operating procedures, organising and coordinating daily quality inspections, registering of internal and external complaints and drawing up and maintaining quality criteria for primary and secondary packaging materials are the responsibility of the department.
This setup facilitates a continuous improvement cycle of our products and processes, guaranteeing the competent production of our Biochemicals.
The in-house knowledge and quality risk management is applied by the QA department as guidance to Duchefa's outsourced activities and the purchase of raw materials, by conducting assessments of suppliers and service providers. It is our policy to inform our customers timely and accurately on all matters of product specifications and safety.
